Bánh Mì A Week: 16/52
What/Where: Beef bulgogi bánh mì from Rocket to Venus, right in my very own Baltimore neighborhood of Hampden.
When: I can say with certainty that I ate this sandwich on Monday, June 11th, 2012. It was my first meal after sleeping off a 24-hour shoot day. I was still semi-delirious.
Highlights: I’m glad that bánh mì are making onto menus at normal, non-Vietnamese restaurants.
Overall: Sadly, the fact remains that normal, non-Vietnamese restaurants rarely do bánh mì well. No more ciabatta! Please!
